Sure electromagnetic flowmeter is divided into integrated electromagnetic flowmeter, split electromagnetic flowmeter, plug-in electromagnetic flowmeter, battery-powered electromagnetic flowmeter, how to correctly choose the material of electromagnetic flowmeter, electromagnetic flowmeter as a commonly used flow meter, material The choice is a very important issue. Because in electromagnetic flowmeters, the part in contact with the medium is only inside the electrode and the measuring tube, so according to different media properties, the material of the electrode and the lining needs to be selected reasonably.
1. The general electrode materials are divided into the following types:
1. Stainless steel, suitable for use in nitric acid, sulfuric acid less than 5% at room temperature, boiling phosphoric acid, formic acid, alkaline solution, sulfurous acid, seawater and acetic acid under certain pressure.
2. Hastelloy B and Hastelloy C. It can be used in sea water and salt water.
3. Titanium. It can be used in seawater, various chemicals and secondary hydrochloric acid, oxidizing acids (including fuming nitric acid), organic acids, alkalis, etc.
4. Tantalum. Except for fuming sulfuric acid and alkali, other chemical media, including boiling hydrochloric acid, nitric acid and sulfuric acid <175℃ can be used.
5. Platinum. Can be used for various acids, alkalis, salts, but does not include aqua regia.
Second, how to choose the lining material is also crucial, how to choose the lining material accurately. It must be noted that the lining material should be selected according to whether the characteristics of the measured medium are corrosive, abrasive, and temperature.
1. Rubber. It has excellent elasticity, high breaking force, good wear resistance, and resistance to general weak acids and alkalis. It can measure water, sewage, mud and ore slurry.
2. Polyurethane. It has excellent abrasion resistance, poor acid and alkali resistance, and can measure neutral and strong abrasion of coal slurry, mud and ore slurry.
3. Teflon. It is resistant to boiling hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid, aqua regia, concentrated alkali and various organic solvents. It has good wear resistance and poor bonding performance.
