The universal intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is composed of two parts: sensor and converter. It is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and is used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquids. It is a speed meter. In addition to measuring the volume flow rate of general conductive liquids, it can also be used to measure the volume flow rate of strong corrosive liquids such as strong acids and bases and uniform liquid-solid two-phase suspended liquids such as mud, ore pulp and paper pulp. It is widely used in the flow measurement of industrial sectors such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, textile, papermaking, environmental protection, food and municipal management, water conservancy construction, river dredging and other fields.
The way of connecting the electromagnetic flowmeter to the pipeline is also different. The connection methods are as follows:
1. Flange connection: Flange connection is the most commonly used connection method. Both ends of the electromagnetic flowmeter have flanges that can be connected. When connecting to the pipeline, as long as the flanges at both ends of the electromagnetic flowmeter are connected to the pipeline The flange is fixed with bolts, this connection can be installed in one direction.
Second, clamp connection: Some electromagnetic flowmeters without flanges themselves use this connection, which can be clamped between the two flanges of the pipeline. The connection method is relatively simple.
3. Threaded connection: There are also some small-diameter electromagnetic flowmeters that use threaded connection. Generally, this connection method is used in the medical and food industries. In addition, this method also has some applications in petroleum and exploration.
4. Clamp connection: Now some small-diameter pipelines adopt clamp connection, and the clamp connection has also become a hygienic connection. Through this connection, the electromagnetic flowmeter can be quickly installed and disassembled, which is convenient for daily maintenance.
